Beijing Motors BJ2020 Coming to Texas

The Beijing Jeep is off to a shop in Corpus to get GM straight 6, new transmission, tires and few acutriments that are useful for hunting.

I was able to have the busted vacuum assist fabricated so the stock motor is almost new with only 1,000 miles on it. So anyone needs a 4 cylinder motor please contact me to discuss it.

Hopefully the US motor will permit it to be titled and licensed for street use.

The straight GM didn't fit. Bought 4.3L GM v6 with about 200 HP. After a complete rebuild it will be installed in about a month, pics forthcoming.

We have bought a donor truck with the V6 motor and transmission we thought would work best. Both the motor and T400 transmission are fully rebuilt and being installed. We will bump up the OEM HP from 75 to 285....that should do it.

After the motor is wired up we will add a Warn winch and BFG Mudd Terrains. We expect to be hunting with this one in about 2 weeks.

These guys built my last rig. I'd give a shiny penny if they had the time to finish Presidio Patrol but they are just too busy with their new machine shop in Corpus.

Excellent progress. Just let go the power from that beast carefully on the Chinese axles.

Esteban, you words are strong like iron...cast iron to be specific. We are prepared to replace the axles when needed. Just no Spares for the originals.

But you are right. We have way more HP than these gears and axles were ever designed to carry.

The Chimolet should be ready for field tests in about 3 weeks.
