Sorry Leslie incorrect, above is generic for all models, SWB, MWB LWB, they say to add 135mm in length to the front tailshaft, and remove 135mm from the rear tailshaft. The 135mm is the extra length in the Marks box, compared to the 3 speed box.

Dick's driveshafts in Phoenix- those guys have been doing hot rods, 4-Bys and other custom driveshaft work for 50 years...

Adding a little length to the Patrol's tubes will be kitten play for these guys. I might even have them convert the TCase output side to a CV joint on the front in order to assist with the crossmember clearance issue that Swerve notes above

You only need to scallop the cross member based onPOINT 29 and drawing B. Your above is an overkill :)

Yeah great document Steve, I found it helpful while doing mine.

Robert if the body is coming off anyway it would be super easy to take a slice off the crossmember as the above doc suggests.

Ok, Check it out....

This is not Tim Miller's garage, and that is not Tim Miller's Patrol in the background...

But the crate should look familiar. Hey Tim-- which side of this box is supposed to face UP?

Ahhhhh, the guest of honor has arrived, and with a bent shifter handle to go with it 8-) :

Along with a bunch of other cool stuff- THANKS for the Ozzie video and reading materials, Tim! You know that IronMan4x4 Sticker will be going on my Patrol... 8-)

I know I'm supposed to break out the tools and get right to work on this thing, but it's 112 outside (that's 44 C for all you Ozzies) and touching my tools is like touching Volcanic lava.

Perhaps tonight it will cool down enough for me to at least finish getting my distibutor wired up.... maybe.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go stuff a cold one in my stubby holder from the Bellarine 4x4 Club :)
