Got a little priming in before the thunderstorms hit today. I think the Chevy wheels will do just fine.

Also finished blasting my gas tank. Top looks good but the bottom has a few holes. Not sure of the status of this one. I don't think this is what came with the vehicle so may not be worth trying to save. Thoughts?

The tank is interesting. It looks like it’s obviously been in there long enough to develop the same rust issues as the stock tanks, but it isn’t a stock tank. How did the filler neck even connect to it?

8014. I have been consumed by other projects but now returning to Edgar. Have spent hours cleaning the engine and the driveline. Wow! How is it possible to have so much crud, Oil, dirt and whatever on this vehicle. I feel like I have pulled off 200 lbs. of stuff and still have a long way to go. Clearing the transfer case and I am seeing several colors including what looks like seafoam green, black, blue and rust. The original color of the engine was blue. Would it be normal for the transfer case to be seafoam green?

The original block color has appeared after shedding the thick coat of crud.

Not uncommon for the trans/transfer to be seafoam with the engine being the darker blue. Nice work! Edgar will feel like he's been on a diet after you're done.

You're ahead of me, this is my next step and I am NOT looking forward to it. Looking at what you've done so far I'm looking forward to seeing what's next.
