Im building some side steps and arms for John (Faux40) and i thought i would post some pics on how i do this. Here it is. I will post more pics of the progress as i go.

The three sections of the arms are welded togethe, grinded, and bevel cut for asthetics.

You know, a set of these will really make the Family Patrol look good!

Thanks, but your Patrol already looks good. I think the next set of arms i build will be spring loaded. They will look just like these, but i will have a heavy duty hinge and a spring hidden in the arm. That way if a rock is hit while 4x4ing they will just bend up out of the way and spring back into position.faux40 wrote:You know, a set of these will really make the Family Patrol look good!
