I am running Cooper STT PROs on my Jeep and love them. I have about 23K on them now and they let you know they are mud tires.

Welcome Dave60,
I'm passing through Amarillo all the time, in fact this week. I must see your Patrol one of these days. I'm dim witted and lucky to be able to feed myself on most days without help from my friends. Tell me again....are your rims 15" or 16"?

I'd contact Chester, the guy that just bought that Utah barn find. I'll bet he will upgrade those wheels and cast off the originals. I was given some oem rims which i appreciate but be aware the older ones can leak around the rim seals. Hmmmm rim seals.... I wonder where they live? never seen them of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom....

No, but I bet ole Jacques Cousteau has seen his fair share of rim seals in his day. There be all kinds of seals around the Pacific Rim! :)

Anybody see the new BFG MT KM3 available in 7.50R16/E (Part # 21105)? 31.8"dia and 8.7"wide on a 16X6 rim.

They are awesome tires. Better than k2 version. Better sidewalls with K3. The mud terrains are better for.......mud naturally..in my humble opinion based on our experience.

75% of tires on the Alpine loop are BFGs of one of these two flavors.

I ran KM2s on my Frontier and didn't care for them. That is why I switched to the Cooper STT PROs on my Jeep. I would go back to the KM3s on my Jeep if they had white letters, but I don't see that available at this time.

I know,,,I'm 70s and 80s old skool!
However, I would run a black wall on the Patrol. I don't recall seeing white letters in the 60s.

Hi all,
the time has come to replace the tires and wheels on the Minion Missile. It looks like BFGs are preferred tires. Can anyone comment on wheels? Not looking for anything fancy, just has to work. My patrol now has a 2" lift, done so that it can accomodate a little bit bigger tire.

Thanks all.

This is what I bought. However, still in the garage and not back on the rode yet. Cannot comment about rubbing anywhere. Don't have the lift to accommodate the 33" P78 Buchshot Mudders yet either.
