Me too!! That can be a job for today actually. Just need to connect the wiring back up, put in new fuses, sacrifice something to the Nissan gods (here puss puss), cross my fingers and hit the ignition. Wish me luck.

Success!! After about a year of sitting she fired up first go. Tried to upload a video of her running but no luck (sorry Moore) she sounds purty though.

And yes the cat survived.

Had another of my awesome ideas . I don't want the whole thing to be white so I'll be painting various bits a different colour ie; the grills, the windscreen hinges, the air louvers' beneath the windscreen, the glove box and speedo panel etc. Thinking something like a metallic purple or the like. Anyway, seeing as I don't have the floor matting I'm thinking of fitting out the entire foot wells with nice shiny checker-plate and then painting the transmission tunnel the metallic colour I decide upon. Make a nice contrast I reckon and be one of a kind.

Re FG panels, I have new front grill, guards, bonnet, windscreen etc. They all came with out mounting holes.

I reckon if you can dummy fit all panels using clamps etc. Then mark out hole positions etc. Might need to use a steel grill to help get hole alignment right on guards, then swap out once guards drilled etc.

Either way I'm sure you have it sussed so keep going.

Good thinking! I've already got one guard on, just needs a little adjustment. I'll try that with the other side (as long as there are holes, the rhs was rusted out), think it was held on with glue and by way of being bolted to the inner guards and rad surround . I'll put some pics up.

So then, first attempt at fitting a fibreglass guard. I got close, a little adjustment and she'll be right. I'll use your suggestion for the other side Swerve, should work better.
