I'm not going to part them out. I hope the post above isn't misleading.
I am still working on the 67 as I can. I just can't do the work myself like I did in days gone by. And don't have any reason it will reverse in the future.

eBay score! Rear wheel cylinder (X1). Tried to run run one down through some forklift parts sources, but they were all special order. Found one listed in Singapore, but don't know if they have it, AND that is too far to drive to pick it up. :)
We think we can make new pins for the other old one.

And haven't had time to confirm is is correct side by side with the old one. Part # matches the parts manual. Fingers crossed.

I picked up those axles just before I left and there are 2 adjusters on them if you still want/need them. Just let me know.

Can you tell what shape the adjusters are in?

Not at the moment as I am at work. I won't be back till just after the first of the month. When I get home I can pull them and tell you then what condition they are in. But I believe the patrol they came off of ran and drove before the axles were pulled.

Sound good. Let me know. PM me what you would like to have for them.

SO had a little time this afternoon to work on the 67. Went from nothing inside the drums when we finally got them off to shoes, cylinders, and adjusters. Found 1 new adjuster on e-Bay and a couple used ones thanks to Justin. And I don't remember asking and didn't think to ask for pictures before putting these back together. Kinda went based on the pictures in the service manual and orientation of the wheel cylinder to get the shoes centered. Hope the shoes are turned the right way.

Excellent, Mike.

Your picture will be a good reference one for others.

After looking at a picture of mine (see below) I thought for a moment that the shoes' position was not right because on mine the portion that doesn't have space for the friction material is at the top and yours at the bottom. The shoes itself are in the same position, with the big square holes at the top, and the springs in the same place. I could only explain this with the fact that mine came from a 74 model that I used to have.

After looking closely at one of the service manuals and the 1970 parts manual, it looks like one shoe should have the square hole at the top, and the other would be at the bottom. It would make sense that the friction material is then spaced equidistant around the surface of the drum. Pairing up the square holes on the top or bottom leaves a much larger gap on that side. Applying the braking force at the pedal would then apply an unbalanced force against the drum and subsequently against the wheel bearings. Hmmm, maybe this is why my drum brakes never seemed that effective?
