My wife’s birthday is today as well. We celebrated by working on a jigsaw puzzle we started a week ago. Maybe we’ll finish in another week.

I am still having serious problems with both doors and the proper clutch adjustment. Rene knows the clutch is out of adjustment as it engages too far from the top. The clutch is rebuilt and then poorly reinstalled by King Kong Craig. He had lots of problems getting together, then I think he slapped it together and sent it out the door.

I have read the threads, perhaps I missed the very paragraph Rene needs. I know it is here somewhere.

I have a clutch alignment tool if that is a piece to the puzzle, though I doubt it. Is there any process for decreasing the "pick up" distance from the top or position before pressure is applied.

We are giving up on the doors...they are terrible and very irritating.

Any direction for Rene would be appreciated.

Request completed.....I think I stumbled onto another Rob Moore tutorial....this time on the clutch adjustment. I sent the whole thread to Rene.

I had the Command & Control Vehicle #5 (CCV5) aka white 63 out last week in Lake City. My last Rube Goldberg project with the PTO wench was not photo documented. I loaded two spare axles with cable rigging through our barn rafters into my trailer. It was masterful and successful.

This time I planned to move a 1 ton boulder away from the barn so my friends don't hit it with one of my cars as they try to help me around the barn.......again. So I wrapped the boulder with my old PTO wench line. I found a good sized tree that would drag it in the direction I wanted. I attached a tree saver pulley, then ran my new 32,000 lb nylon cable to my old cable and engaged the PTO wench. It was not a direct pull as that would be easy and pull the boulder in the wrong direction. Once tight...I gently pressed the gas peddle. Before I knew it...I pulled the tree out of the ground. Epic fail. I have pictures this time but have yet to upload them.

Greetings from the Ice Wall in Lake City, CO. The high country roads are closed so I’m down in town watching the ice climbers do their thing.

I sure wish our forefathers had devised a way to keep the driver’s feet warm. My passenger was toasty but after an hour at near zero my toes were wishing for some warm sand.
