Good job! I'm pretty much into stock myself unless it don't show and works better! Example) Petronics under dizzy cap in lieu of points.

Pulled the Marks 5 Speed from my parts car, couldn't get the bolts off the bulbar and didn't want to cut it as its too good to waste. Just excuse the safe engine crane practices :animals-duckie:

Miller,

Have gone over the bullbar as well, had to lower the front tyres to get a bit more height. Hairy isnt it :)

You know you have a very good engine hoist when it will do that. That is almost 1000 pounds right there.

Dropped of my original G60 wheels which has crappy split sidewalled tyres and my Toyota Split rims which have the good, roadworty tyres of at My Local Tyrepower.

The Roadtrack majors will be mounted to the original G60 wheels, hile the poor old Wornout tyres will be fitted to the Toyota Rims, with all new tubes in the G60 Rims

finally got the irrits with the crappy head lights in my Daily. they were not the original g60 sealed beams, rather some replaceable bulb h4 insert type headlights and they have been terrible since i bought the ute. the reflectors themselves were tarnished and the bulbs were some 55w/60w low/high spread beam jobs. my high beam was a touch worse than my low beam on all my other farm hacks!! anyway the kick switch on the floor shorted out and died, killing what poor lighting i had- my girlfriend was in the ute and i was at 100kmph at the time, my ears are still ringing from her screaming :o ,

so i pulled the spare floor switch from one of the spare parts g60's, which fixed that issue, and then i pulled the head lights from a parts pajero i have sitting here- they are the same size as the stock g60 headlights and fit the g60 light housing perfectly. they are sealed beams and are 50w low, 75w high. add the better reflectors in general and suddenly i have headlights that i can see with- they light up the reflector posts on either side of the road for almost 50 meters!!!!!!!! hahaha, no but seriously i can actually see the road and even the odd roo that's about to jump out at me......
next step with the lighting will be to get a couple of the new LED spot lights, or maybe a light bar. i may even splash out and get a set of the HID replacement headlights.

cheers
kev
