Haha funny my initials are MRP. I wish I was a MPR. This is the first time I have ever done this and I have learned so much from this group of amazing people!

I was thinking I might do a bolt log if peps think it would help? Or if anyone already has one I can add to it or verify? I’m going to replace all bolts (and give to Rob if he still wants them) because I broke so many taking it a part. Thoughts? It is so time consuming to verify them and then go get them. I think it could be help full to someone.

I’d be interested in the bolt log (and your surplus fasteners, if Rob doesn’t want them). I have two Datsun/Nissan projects that use the standard (SAE) fasteners.

A bolt log would definitely be useful. Do it! :D

Hi Matt,
A bolt log would be super helpful. Also, places to source these would be fantastic. I haven't really spent too much time doing so, but it seems like finding some on these individually in Cadium or yellow Zinc, will be a challenge (think of travel limiters). Can't really see myself buying a box of 25 of these?

You Matt are are clearly an alchemist. Dr Faustus would be proud. You are making gold from rust and carbon. Well done.

Matt's restro

Post by Mattbob53 »

I’m going to be honest. Having done the rear end and having the front end still to do, I almost said screw it.. after today and seeing everything almost tied back up I’m re-energized. I have 2 more pieces to sandblast, front end, drive shaft. Shit load of grease and rust but so close.

You are doing a GREAT job on this! It's awesome to see the progress.

Quick question: How did you get your gauges looking so good? I have always wanted to know if there was a way to spruce up older gauges, and yours look fantastic.

Keep up the good work.
