It really is a monster of a radiator.

Re: L60Boerne's Santa's Sleigh
Greetings,
Just a note to say Santa's Sleigh performed all duties this week with excellence....which included towing the Chicom back to base.
This 65 is pretty rusty, contradicting the original sales advertisement, but after Eddy got the motor right it runs like new.
The odometer shows 34,000 miles. If it had solid skin it would be real winner. 95% complete including OEM gas cap.

Plateaucal, It is a 30-06 Baikal double rifle. Russian, very well made. Perfect for short brush shots. I haven't had a fun hunt since you were here. In fact is was my only third short trip there since January 1st. You will not believe all the brush clearing and hunting area upgrades at The Lair so we need to put a hunt together as soon as we can. The bad news is that all the heavy equipment working full time has kept the axis deer hidden during the day and largely on other ranches so we seen very few axis this spring but they will be back after the heavy equipment moves off the ranch.

Re: L60Boerne's Santa's Sleigh
Oh that would be sweet! But thermal has it's limitations too, ;like price. I do have a FLIR handheld. Maybe I could use that in conjunction with night vision.jwgreen wrote:Night Vision....Nah....get you an ATN Thor 4 Thermal!!!!!plateaucal wrote:Soooo, are you telling me to buy a night vision scope for my rifle? Re: L60Boerne's Santa's Sleigh
Patrolless with Knowledge,
That new thermal night vision Justin was talking about is just plain cheatin....but since it is mainly used on hogs it is all fun...not that I have any money left over from Patrol fixes. All I can do is strike a match and hope something is close.
