Distributor for 1966 L60 Patrol

Hi, My name is Tom Thrasher and I am in need of a distributor for my 1966 L60 Patrol. I have gone through Nissan and they can't get one anymore and I took it to Napa to have them send it out to get it rebuilt. I just got the call back from Napa and they can't rebuild it because there are no parts available. I was told that it needs to have new bushings put in. Do you have a distributor I can buy? The one I have is the waterproof kind. It is not the stock one, or if it is, it was an option for that year. I appreciate your help. If you don't have one, do you know someone who might? Do you have any information on an electronic ignition? Can I use my distributor in the condition it is in for electronic ignition. The only thing wrong with it as far as I know is the shaft wiggles from wear. Thanks, Tom PS, this is my daily driver.

Tom, You do sound desperate. If it is only bushings that it needs, try to find a really complete automotive machine shop. I retired from the aerospace industry and I'll confess that several distrbutors were rebuild in one of aerospaces finest machine shops.

I have a Dist from a 1962 Patrol , It is the screw down type with the waterproof screw type plug wires.. Mike Miller ajagman@hotmail.com
