60Patrol

From hillbilly Thanks for the info on the chiltons book. I don't realy like any other trucks, so I want to build this one. I'm not sure if I want to swap the engine yet ( the engine was rebuilt about 20,000 miles ago). I just bought it, so I'm looking for options. The motor is good, but I am having trouble with the carburator. The jets, needls and springs are either the wrong ones for my altitude or are worn out. So right now thats what I am looking for along with a water pump and thermostat. So if you have any part numbers on those that would also be very helpfull. Dump the Hatachi and as has been mentioned several other Message Board Postings go to a Rochester #7015013. Most parts stores have them or can order them. They came stock on the '69s.  I am looking into a progressive two barrel Weber. It would be like half of a 4 barrel. A primary and a secondary when you punch it. Webers Carbs are famous for more horsepower and better fuel mileage at the same time.  They can also be jetted from the factory for high elevation. They aren't cheap, $350-$425.  If you wanted cheap you could have bought an old Samari.
