voltage regulator needed for a 66 daily driver

I am looking for a voltage regulator for my 1966 Patrol. It is a positive ground, generator system. The Nissan dealer said they can't find one anywhere in the country. I have inquired to some of you members individually and now I am sending a broadcast message. If any of you fellow Patrol owners have any information what so ever on a replacement or conversion it would be greatly appreciated. My Patrol is my only vehicle and I use it every day. I sold my 93 Toyota 4x4 pickup to get it as I knew the value and how rare these beauties are in the USA. I also knew how hard it would be to get parts, but the joy of owning one of the only Patrols in Phoenix, Arizona is worth the hassle. I'm getting tired of taking out my battery every 3 to 4 days and charging it. Please Help ! Send replies to thrashertnt1@home.com Thanks Tom Thrasher

See the Compatible parts list. Gary recommends a Carquest one. The entry is dated 6/8/00. Good Luck!
