Axle shaft splines
I haven't pulled my axle shafts yet, so does anyone know how many splines they are? A guy at Randy's Ring and Pinion said he could get an ARB Air Locker for a 12 spline axle and his info said the Patrol was a 12 spline axle. However, I want to make sure he has the correct info for the model 60.Thanks In Advance,David

Axle shaft splines
I have one rearend from a 67 in my garage that is torn apart right now. It has 10 spline shaft. The origional in my 69 Patrol is also 10 spline. It is easy to pull the shafts. There are only four nuts on the back of the brake plate that hold the shaft in. There are no C-clips in the diff housing. Be sure to unhook the brake line from the brake backing plate. A Speck
