Well, finally I am ready to post some pictures of my spring over axel conversion. I also have revolver shackles, and the conbination works great. If you need for flex, go with the shackles. If you need more clearance (like I did), go with the SOA. The later involves much more work and a few mods, but it is worth every headache. I finally have my Patrol the way I want it. I will also post some pictues of a couple of interesting things I've done to the car, such as dual battery with isolator and in-cab winch controls. If you have any questions please ask me. Hi EyePez, I'm planning to do a SOA on my patrol 3.3D but have a lot of questions, I hope you can answer. How dit you modify the front/rear axle? Did you have to replace the drive-shafts or can you keep using the original ones? When you do a SOA, doesn't the front driveshaft touch that horizontal part in the frame that's in front of your gearbox? All pictures of your modification and tips are more than welcome! go to www.outerlimits.com and goto the members or nissan section.there is lots of info on doing a soa.i just started mine on a lwb mq and so far so good.
