Back sliding window latch?

Got rust? Seats, panels, doors, windows, etc. The old messages from the NPCA 'Body & Interior' category are here.

Back sliding window latch?

Post by npca-danetteandkeith »

Hey ya'll! Can anyone tell me if there is suppose to be latches on the side sliding windows? Mine come open when going down dirt roads. Is the window channel wore out or am I missing a latch? Thanks, Keith

Thanks for the pictures. I guess my 69 doesn't have any holes thru the glass for that type of latch. They appear to be original or at least they have the Nissan writing on them. Not sure what type of latch should be there if any? Keuth

I believe several types were made, the older ones clip on and i have only seen one complete set...they keep wondow closer but were obviously worthless aginst theft.
