Hey Gang I just picked up a PATROL a few weeks back, Ive been looking at some of the pictures of PATROLS... I noticed that most if not all shots of the seat show a split seat, ie like a 40 60, ie driver and two passinger arrangment. Whereas my seat is one piece.. And it is not mounted in anyway... Thus I assume that the orginal seat it is not? Mater of fact, it looks like a seat out of an old datsun pickup.... Oh mine PATROL is a 67.. On the same subject, anyone have a seat for sale? Grant

Grant, You are correct in your assumption that your seat may not be original. I have a '67 and the Driver and Passenger seats are split, with both seats lifting up separately to expose the battery on the driver's side and a tool area on the passenger side. Unfortunately, I don't have an extra set to part with. -Joe W.

If I can find a pair of bucket seats for mine I'll have a 60-40 set for sale. I don't have kids or a very short legged friend that can sit in the middle anyway. I'm going for a consul in the middle to hold drinks and junk. Gary in Eastern California.

I can sell you an original 60/40 seat but it needs to be reupholstered before it can be used. The original seat frame also lifts forward to reveal a storage compartment. Let me know if you want this seat frame assy. I will take $200 for it or if not I will put it up on ebay in the following weeks. Jaime Tepes 610-662-7854
