Well,After some intense diagnosis , My Patrol is going to need alot of parts to get roadworthy.Hope some people can offer some help and advice.If any knows of a parts source or / mod in America please speak up..I need a fuel pump.water pump.Electronic ignitionRadiator hoses upper/lowerjavascript:submit_message(document.forms.frmSubmit,3);Send MessageCarb kit.Brake master cylinderoil filterfront brake hosesfront/rear wheel cylindersthermostat.

Hey, it sounds like you've been pretty thorough in your diagnosis. This sounds like a pretty typical start to 'refreshing' a Patrol. And you've come to the right place - many of us have already been there, done that so we can share sources. Some of what you need can still be had from Nissan. I usually order from www.nissanpartscc.com - they give a good discount. I'll list some part numbers here of things I have got from them in the past: Water pump 21010-C4925 $170 Upper rad hose 21503-44000 $28 Lower rad hose 21503-65200 $30 Brake Master 46010-44001 $112 Oil filter 15208-32225 $4.45 Front Wheel cyl - RIGHT side 41111-35003 $39 each (need 2) Front wheel cyl - LEFT side 41113-35005 $42 each (need 2) Thermostat - 180deg 21200-P7991 $? If you can't get the radiator hoses from them, try the next source. They show up on Ebay occassionally. Another source for some stuff - brake hoses, master cyl rebuild kit, sometimes radiator hoses, and other stuff is Ebay user schluderm. Go to his Ebay Datsun Parts Express store and you'll find a bunch of good Patrol stuff. Fuel pump - www.then-now.com contat them, they can rebuild yours. Electronic ignition - I personally don't know of one yet. I intend to take a distributor to Pertronics one day and have them make some. But since I don't have any performance problem with the original points/condensor ignition it hasn't really been a priority. The Crane XR700 ignition kit looks like it should work - I put one in a TLC before. Carb kit - Rochester or Hitachi? If Hitachi, good luck. If Rochester, find a local carb shop that has been doing businees for quite a while, they'll be able to rebuild it for you. I've done this with several Rochesters. They actually were even able to rebuild my Hitachi carb by just matching up the right parts. Rear wheel cylinders are going to be the toughest part. The cups to rebuild the can be had from Nissan - part number 44112-E5010. Get the cups then find a shop to rebuild yours. Hopefully yours are rebuildable. Otherwise, I don't know of another solid source for them. Rumor has it you can get them from OZ, but I don't know where. You probably also need the thermostat by-pass hose. Part number 21069-58000. Your vacuum advance is also probably shot, or close to it. Even with electronic ignition you're going to need it. It can be rebuilt at: Hiway Auto Parts, Inc 1526 River Road Puyallup, WA 98371 253-845-7020 It's about $50 to have it rebuilt. Good luck!

God Damn.River Patrol. Thanks for all that info that you just shared with me.I can't even begin to put a price on all that you just shared.I am so excited about getting this project going.Plus I 've got the whole family behind me that want to help.I think my girlfriend is more psyched than I am..Time to pull out the credit card and get to doing some shopping.I had downloaded the Patrol manual off of this site back in May and I just now got finished with the diagnosis's.I will start postin pics shortly.Again.. Helo Most of the parts you need are listed on this site under "interchangeable parts" category. Gates hose cataloge lists upper and lower raditor hoses and I thimk bypass hose. Listing for upper radiator hose includes generic flexible hose , which installs alittle easyer. Heater fitting from old lower radiator hose can be trnsfered to new hose with some delicate surgery. Given brake hose length and threadform at either end you should be able to back into replacement part number , if you can get your hands on a brake-hose catloge I was able to order brake and clutch components from Anda Lawson at anda@fwd.com.au > goodlucked

Hey ECCook - were you able to get rear wheel cylinders from Anda, and if so how much? This would be great if it is a confirmed source!
