Is there any other distributor that will fit the '69 Patrol? I keep frying points even though I replace the condensor. Anybody have the same problem? Thanks in advance for your replies!   Papa1

make sure your running a coil that has a built in resistor.....(should say on coil..no external resistor needed...)which means theres one inside the coil....if not..your getting full 12 or more volts to points...and that will smoke em......paul

To Pudde and Commando   Sometimes problems are easily fixed with a refresher course.  Thank you both for the input.  This internet is all new for me.   Thanks again, Papa1
