; >LOOKING FOR A DISTRIBUTOR OR BREAKER PLATE FOR 1969 PATROL >ENGINE.; ; I went through the same exercise 6 months ago. My vacuum diaphragm was rotted out. Couldn't find any replacement parts or a new original distributor. The guys' at Sunstone Equipment (fork lift parts) in Santa Fe springs, Ca. found a perfect replacement. I installed it with an electronic ignition kit from J.C. Whitney and I have never been happier. I have A 62 patrol with the PPU-241/242 engine. It's the same motor that's in the older Nissan fork lifts. The cost for the upgrade was about 325.00. The distributor was around 200.00. Hope this helps, Vizsla (Jim Q.)
