HEI For Patrols

Post by npca-lance »

Two months ago i had a company i deal with at work build me a chevy HEI distributor to fit my 69 patrol. The fit is tight with about a 1/4 inch between the cap and valve cover. The distributor uses the same patrol base and bolts pretty much right to it, some shim is required for hold down. The best things about this is #1 easy to find tune-up parts #2 Runs great after you get it timed in #3 for $150.00 you get distributor, cap , rotor , coil, and cover, plus there's no core charge, wires were about 30.00 but these were good ones. Freight was about $6.00. i put a weber carb on at the same time and i don't know what one was better
So, I just bought this Patrol….
