Ok I have a question. I have a symptom on the GU patrol shocks I will not mention. What I want hear is what symptoms would you expect if your front right shock was blown on either compression or rebound or both.
I have my thoughts and wish to see how it aligns with others ?

You might hear clunking noises when hitting bumps; the truck would rebound unevenly over bumps or through dips; the suspension might hit especially hard at the corner that has the bad shockie; you might notice abnormal tire wear, like 'cupping'.

You'll notice that there's a tendency of bottoming out on bumps of the road to the point that the rubber stops are touching.
The best symptom is that you start asking question across the pond...

At highway speeds the tire will "bounce" rapidly and is very noticeable. Can actually be seen from another vehicle next to you at speed. Look for wetness if oil shock

This, I think, is actually a misconception devised by automotive repair shops years ago to sell unneeded work ie shocks. The true cause of a tire hopping like that is that it is imbalanced, possibly it threw a wheel weight. I worked at dealership service departments for many years and observed this happen many times. Replace the shocks and the problem is still there; balance the wheels and the problem is corrected. I do agree that an imbalanced wheel, if left to run that way, will ruin a shock.

Stand on your bumper on each corner and jump up and down. Note any differences. If your shock is bad, you'll detect less resistance in one direction or the other, possibly both.
