Here is another list we decided to resurrect from the old Nissan Patrol Club America site: You know you own a Patrol when…These were always good for a laugh. I'll get the list started with some examples from the old list. Feel free to add your own. Let's see how many we can come up with!

You know you own a Patrol when…

People come up to you everywhere to admire it.

You take your Patrol in for five new tires and the OWNER of the shop comes out to take a bunch of pictures of it as you stand by like a proud father!!

Its 30 below and you use it to start everything else!!!

You love the feel of that tractor-like growl coming out the exhaust at low rpm.

You pull the stump that the Cat operator gave up on.

You get tired of repeating: "Yes, like a Land Cruiser, sure."

You get tired of convincing the guy at the parts store "yes I'm sure they made the patrol before 1980... No not a Y60"

You know you own a Patrol when:
Your wife yells at you to stay on the road as you are gawking at a vehicle sitting in the weeds behind that barn and you are trying to see if it is one....

you just drove an near impossible line and your mates in twin locked gq's and jeeps ask when you had lockers installed.......

people at traffic lights ask you what it is

You're own Mom asks what it is! I've told her a dozen times...she still says "jeepthing" like its all one word....

...you make it up a hill and a minute later see a 90's CJ Jeep backing down from halfway up!

...you find yourself identifying with those sad folks on that "hoarders" show while you calculate your remaining garage/yard square footage for potential patrol related storage.

Every acquaintance you have that is mechanically inclined stares in awe the first time they see it. Of course you stand by like you actually designed and built it...which in some case might be true.
