Dash instrument restoration?

Does anybody in the states restore the Patrol dash instrumentation??

Any automotive insturment shop worth their salt could revamp it for you. I had mine done for my old falcon, Im in Oz but theres not really alot to it.

I did google it, There is a shop in Reno, but I'm looking for somebody to give them a new face plate, the "20 mph" is flaking off and I would like both gauges to look like new.

Hmmm...you would think that would be part of restoring the instruments. The gauges are known for peeling after they sit in the sun for decades. Sometimes you can find decent replacements. I bought a brand new one on eBay once.

Ricks restorations in Vegas has a guy that specialises in renewing paint and lettering details. Gauge repair shops should know of others like him in your area.

Thanks!, that's not the guy that does the restoration stuff on TV is it?

Would you consider replacing the gauge with another one?
There are some spares around the forum.
