More info please! I'm a Jeep dummy so I don't know the difference between a YJ and a CJ. Years built? How does the tank mount up? What kind of fuel line connector does it have? Details! Details!norville wrote:Oh and I read on Rawmls post that a YJ fuel tank will fit in the frame rails, but the filler is on the wrong side. Knowing that, a CJ will then also fit and have the filler on the correct side..

He is using fuel injection on his, my CJ7 was a carbI'm using a 20 Gallon Jeep Wrangler Fuel Tank. The rear width of the Patrol is identical to the Jeep Wrangler. This made it easy to install a tank. The tank however has the fuel filler neck on the driver's side rather than the passenger side. It doesn't have an internal fuel pump so I mounted one inside the frame rail above the rear axle.
