"!962 Nissan Patrol. Arizona vehicle with absolutely no rust. The body is straight with no work ever done to it. It has new upholstery and a new bikini top. Mechanically everything is intact and ready for restoration. This is one of only a small number that were imported in 1962. I am eager to sell this to that one buyer who is looking for this diamond in the rough! "

My softy is a 62 and I'm a 1962.....no wonder I like the 62's so much!
I hope this finds a home that will at least clean that red paint off the door pulls.

Hey Mike,
That job on your doors is nice info. Would you post that again? I believe GSC was interested in seeing this.

All my door build pics and text went by my completely pulling out of the other site! I may try to throw something together someday...

Re: 1962 Nissan Patrol - $4000 Phoenix AZ
I bought that red 62 in Phoenix... They couldn't get it to start, so I told him I'd pay 2800, which was all that the chassis and body were worth to me; and he took it.
The body is super clean and solid, ditto the chassis- This one is very solid, rust free original steel.
Trailered it home, found a broken 12v lead to the distributor, and reversed the spark plug wires (they had the firing order right, but they had it going clockwise, instead of counter-clockwise) and it fired right up - 30 minutes of effort.
Unfortunately, the crankcase is full of oil combined with coolant, so I have to pull the head and see what's going on (praying it's just a head gasket).
This is actually the 2nd Patrol I've owned - I also owned a beat up blue 67 rust bucket back in the mid-90's that ran like a champ- I wish I still had that one now- I could combine the 2 into one killer ride.
