Traded some emails with him... he claims he's seen parts catalogs go for 225. Not on ebay aus/us/can/france in the last year, one hasn't... most I've seen was around 160, iirc.
...BUT! ...there are 2 things about this that are unique, imo. First, take a look at that last picture... those are actual fabric samples! Being able to perfectly recreate the stock upholstery might be important to someone. Second, the size of the diagrams... I recall Esteban saying how excited he was to see the larger size diagrams in the 73 parts catalog uploaded here. The diagrams in this one look the same as the 73 book to me...
Imo, I think his opening price would be a fair and reasonable expectation for a final sale price, providing he opened with something more realistic like 100$.
