LOL!!! I hate it when people drill holes too.   There are other things you can see in the pictures that make it look like a shady deal

$10 says if you drag a magnet across the back of that truck it is full of bondo.   oh ya...nice story on it in the auction...

ya she is not in bad shape....and pretty orginal. I wonder if it has the factory tool kit under the passenger seat? Those rear tail lights sure made me think bondo though. The ad is just pretty strange and that Air Force badge doesn't make sense at all. If you look close you can see a stock looking rear tow hook, if it was really used by the Air Force to pull huge trailers it wouldn't have that. Regardless, it will be a good truck for somebody I am sure....

I would be leary of the engine. They don't show any pictures of it. But, one of the pics uf the underside shows the exhaust/muffler going right next to the battery tray. Now, to get it over there with a stock P engine you're going to have to do a 90 degree bend right after the exhaust manifold and go under the transmission. Or, there is another engine in it that has the exhaust on the left instead. Probably a Yota or Chevy straight 6 since the firewall isn't butchered, I would think. I could be wrong, tho. The seller doesn't have a real good feedback rating.

Hi gang. Did the fellow add some photos at the last moment? There are two there now of the engine and it sure looks like the real deal - have to agree that the body "feels" heavy with bondo and those rear tailights are not anywhere where they should be. That Military designation tag can't apply to that Patrol unless it weights a lot more than the standard weight and I see nothing in the photos that speaks of a beefed up chassis or even the tow surge spring assemblies I have on one of my 1951 M38 army jeeps - that really was beefed up for special apps.

This one is also on ebay...it's pretty cool. It's an LWB (110" wheelbase wagon) which is rare anywhere in the world. It will have the H260 rear diff.   Not the kind of P-troll for everyone but definatly different and looks to have some money spent on it. I bet it is a lot of fun to drive...but it is on the wrong side of the world.
