Is the profile cross section correct or has it been deformed over the past years?

FYI, on another forum I posted information on the Spectrum Rubber - weatherstip and door seals. Since Spectrum will not send samples of their productions, I still have not committed dollars to ordering from Spectrum.

It doesn't look like the foam is distorted or deformed, so I would say those are a goos representation of the original weather strip. That is assuming they are original.

Agree. It looks original to me.

This is one of the areas that I stopped sweating a long time ago, and I just go and find whatever profile better adapts to the place needed. Luckily the Patrol is very simple in this department and you'll find some choices.

Hi Esteban

Just wondering if you could please share some similar weatherstrip profiles which fit the the g60 patrol. I have a 77 G60 WU and am having a hard time finding the weatherstrip for the interior of the door.

Sorry for the delay. Somehow I forgot to check back this thread.

This is the alternate profile that I'm using. My understanding is that this should be a typical universal one. The measurement in inches should be ~5/8". I use this one all over.
I was browsing this afternoon the website of Scott's Old Auto Rubber in Australia. I just don't understand why these guys have not updated the images. Terrible. Wanted to cry... They seem to be a copy of a copy of a fax. Almost impossible to get a clear idea if a certain profile will be good or not.
