Congratulations! I remember seeing this one on Ebay. I commented that I could use the air intake that is bolted to the left side of the radiator.

What are your plans for it?

Thanks,
I got it running yesterday and the engine ran sweet

. I was going to use it for parts but after having a closer look yesterday it looks too good to wreck, might just tidy it up, register it and drive it around for a while, it would look pretty cool towing my old camper.

That is a common dilemma - buy it cheap for parts. Then you easily get it running and realize it's hard to kill something with so much life left in it.

Hi 250,
Good eye and good decision to not make it a donor. I had the same situation buying my 65 as a donor for a basket case 62 softy. The softy is on the back burner now and the 65 is going to live on soon!
....and welcome!
Patrol On.

Congrats, next time centre it on the trailer better as little to much weight forward
I made that mistake towing number 1 home.

Thanks Steve,
I think half the problem is the 4" lift in the GQ, works great off road but a little too soft for towing
