Montana Patrol upgrades in progress

I decided to start my upgrades to Montana Patrol. The tub that was installed on it when I bought it was from a 66-67. Its actually a 69 vehicle. As such, the original doors did not fit the door jambs on the installed tub. The floor was severely rusted and not salvageable. I had "eliminated" a 69 rust bucket last year and saved the floor which was useable and the door jambs from the tub. the tub on the eliminated 69 was rusted out and coated in bondo to cover the rust. I also had another useable tub that will become the new tub for the Montana Patrol. It too was a 66-67 style. Since it was easy to work on as it wasn't installed on any vehicle I decided to install the jambs from the "eliminated" Patrol. I had to cut out the wrong year ones and then install the newer style ones. The floor from the "eliminated" vehicle was then attached to the new donor tub...

Yesterday, started working on the rust in the foot box area.

Removed rusted areas

made a new piece including having to cut the fire wall and drilling and tapping out the broken fender bolts

Hmm... what next.....

Yes we actually stayed home this weekend rather than camping :D :D
Kind of waiting for fall and winter so I can spend even more time in the shop.... This "little project just started out with swapping body parts... my wife convinced me to spend the time and $$$$ to do it right once rather than having to pull the vehicle apart again later to fix rust, sand blast, paint reassemble... so the little project looks more and more like the whole meal deal.... oh well..

How is the other side?
Good work, you will not have to revisit this again. :)
What color will it be?
