I bought it and i have the rears on order but the springs don't seem right. I think this set intends for 3 springs per drum. I can see using the 2 long ones to reach from the top shoe to the bottom shoe bypassing the spring stud. It's the small one that has me wondering.
I haven't had a chance to work on the brakes, I have all 6 wheel cylinders on their way from AU. I was just wondering if anyone has tried this kit.
Yeah, so i ordered them I'm waiting on the rears but the fronts are a little iffy. I'm going to try to get them to work when the wheel cylinders get in. Any thoughts?? I will get my backing plate and hardware looking as clean as yours in time. I need to pull them off and bead blast them.
I notice the paper template over the wheel stud plate in this picture. That is an awesome idea! That keeps the drum from seizing to the stud plate. I have just used a bunch of anti-seize before, which is very messy. I'll have to remember this...
For the price, I picked up 1 front set today, and have an additional front set and 2 rear sets on the way. The box I got today doesn't look that old, but had a lot of dust on it.

Self stick shelving paper (the kind with the glossy surface) works awesome for this...
