This one has been on craigslist in the past. It looks nice in the pictures, but this is very potentially another case of "lipstick on a Patrol", as Urban60 would say. For that price I dislike seeing a marine battery stuffed under the hood, and several other features. If they get that price that makes all of our not-so-true restorations all the more valuable. ;)

That is the one I mistakenly thought Urban bought.
Not one shot of the undercarriage? obvious overspray?....been there, done it too, looks worse than rust.
I feel a surge of bashing coming on but would like to point out that if this were for sale for, say $7000-$9000 it may be a fair deal for someone who has the hobby money and wants to drive now. I recall it at various stages on ebay always double of its value....that is why it never sold. The people have completely unrealistic value on this Patrol. Maybe they spent too much on having others do the work and want to recoup but that is a guess. Buy it now $20,999 ;) ...oh, and I have this bridge for sale.......

Not that I like the paint scheme, but kind of interesting to see. The best example of "lipstick..." is with the the cables from the turn signal lever at the steering wheel. Painted!

Also, the amount of switches to nowhere at the dash panel, points to a previous owner that was a drilling happy one.

However, I might say that body wise it looks in good shape.

Remember that this area of Florida is nearby to some retiree's locations.

At their website they list an 1966 FJ40 coming soon. Would be interesting to see what price they ask for that one.

Good from far.. far from good! Obvious tidy up judging by the thickness and runs in the paint. You would expect this price from a completly restored vehicle. Oh and the black overspray on the front panel

The painted door handles, Patrol plate out of place on the rear, grill color, painted bar on the grill, and the fender Nissan Patrol emblem on the glove box door bother me on this one. The headlight bezels look re-chromed, so I would expect the other chrome items to be re-chromed. For that price, you would think those would be easy to get correct.

Not bashing, just a little critiquing. It is a great looking Patrol. They could have paid a little more attention to details if they wanted to spend that much money.

Wow! I got quoted  and on one that is as deserving as mine to wear the crown. I just smile now when AAA driver says what a nice truck I have and where to? last week it was the carburetor. I have yet to get it more than 10 miles from home without getting in trouble. I will bet this one runs better than mine, but I agree a little more attention to detail would be nice.
