1967 Nissan Other Short bed
It's a 1969. Side reflectors, front rectangle park lights, black int trim pieces, steering wheel..... = 69.
I am not interested in it but PM me if you want me to look for you. It is 45 minutes from me and I need to do some stuff up that way anyhow..

Re: 1967 Nissan Other Short bed
I got the address from the owners friend and it turns out to be on the west side of Yosemite/Tuolomne Park, near Sonora, CA......3 hrs away not 45 minutes so good luck to all who bid and congrads to the winner cause I think it might be a winner.....very original condition. One notable thing is the vacuum lines are still unbent and in original positions. If the engine turns its good for a few hundred bucks for sure.

That engine needs more help than simply being frozen up.
No dist cap or rotor, no hoses, no belts, no alternator, no ignition wires.
if it was running when he parked it then the piston rings are probably just rusted to the cylinder walls - I have gotten several engines running that were "frozen" this way... It's just a side-effect of incorrect long term storage preparation- whenever you know that you are going to keep an engine shut down for a period of years, you should always take the time to pull the spark plugs and fill the combustion chambers with either motor oil or light machine oil. It will temporarily smoke like a locomotive when the day comes that you try to start it up again, but at least it will be well lubricated and preserved.
Some Marvel Mystery Oil down the spark plug holes, and some time to let it soak in, might be all that this engine needs to return to life... assuming that the seller is being genuine when he says that it ran when he parked it.

Amazing-
Suddenly, the deal I got on the green deathtrap looks SMOKIN...
At least mine ran well enough to drive up onto the trailer.

I would not trust what the seller says about condition but it could be true that this vehicle was just left alone after having some minor issues. We've seen that a thousand times. I look at this 1969(!) and see a lot of things good and unmolested, a great sign. If the buyer can spearhead problems and gets it running it is a fair deal. Rollbars are expensive so thats a plus.
Robert, you got a deal in that donor/bumper and winch.
