WTB Rear hook, rear step, rubber boots
WTB Rear Hook, Rear step, Rubber boots for park brake and xfer case twin levers.
The boots are later68/69 style that mount directly into the cutout hole and do not use trim rings.
Also, since I'm here, could use some nicer headlight trim rings, and (round) front park light trim rings and newer rubber which they mount on.
And... If ya got extra hubcaps and a front floor mat, throw them this way, too.

User oem_alternatives on eBay was selling the boots for a while. Maybe you could try contacting him and see if he has more.
Are your trim rings beyond cleaning up with some chrome polish and fine steel wool?
We haven't seen pictures of your Patrol yet. It's almost a requirement before requesting parts (just kidding).

Yeah, been remiss on the pics...hoping to post some soon.
The trim rings really don't look too bad from a distance, (like me) but the chrome is rusty/ flakey on the bottom sides.
Unless I'm searching wrong, ebay currently doesn't find oem_alternatives.
Thanks for the input.

Re: WTB Rear hook, rear step, rubber boots
I think it's a different search to search by user on eBay. Here is his store: http://stores.ebay.com/oem-alternatives?_rdc=1
User 2869ral on here can make a rear step for you. Here is the post with pics: http://www.60patrol.com/forum/viewtopic ... tep#p13653 You can contact him at ronaldlinstra@yahoo.com .
If you can't find the 'rat tail' rear hook, there is a pintle hook that is very similar to the original here: http://www.sor.com/cat240B.sor The bolt pattern is the same as the rear of the Patrols, so it should bolt right up.

Re: WTB Rear hook, rear step, rubber boots
Thanks again for lotsa good info. I'll prob sign up to that Ebay source.
I'm contemplating a rear step from Pacol, but may contact 2869ral also.
I've pondered Specter's pintle, and could probably scrounge one up, but...to me,the Rattail is my favorite patrol feature ! Kinda sets ya apart from the suburban-assault-grocery-getter crowd.

...If you are reading this, please go look outside to see if there is a Malaysian Airways 777 in your yard.
Since you are getting up to search...please also look to see if there is an abandoned Patrol 'rat-tail' rear hook within view. I'm still seeking one.
Contact me if you find either object.
Thanks, Mild Bill
