Texas 1969 KL60
So my project is a 1969 Patrol KL60. I got this from a friend who's family had it for almost all its life. I picked it up off him when the family sold the farm and moved into town and had no place or desire to store and restore it. The vehicle is pretty solid as far as rust and problems. The only real rust problem was on the hard top which I have already had fixed. Also the top was a little bowed in so I had the guy arch and install some 1/4" square tubing underneath where the interior bows will go to give it some support so it should never droop in again. Currently the Patrol is only a frame. I have rebuild the axles, hubs, and had new leaf springs made. My next step is to rebuild the battery box and touch up a couple little things on the frame and then paint it. I have also already had the engine rebuilt and she is sitting in the corner just waiting to go back in. I've also rebuilt the distributor, carb, clutch master, wheel cylinders and wiper motor. I'm going to post some pics here but there are a bunch more in my gallery.

That engine looks great. What paint color did you use to paint it?
I recognize that red, hair pulling creeper.

I had the paint matched to the back side of the timing cover I think, where the color still looked factory. I can post the mix when I get home, in a few weeks, if you would like. As for the creeper, I don't have to worry much about the hair pulling as my hair is all buzzed.RiverPatrol wrote:That engine looks great. What paint color did you use to paint it?

That is a great looking house!

I've tried everything. I put in 2 separate scrunchies and tuck it in the back of by shirt, but that darn creeper still finds some of it.sleepyzzz wrote:RiverPatrol wrote: I recognize that red, hair pulling creeper.
