Wiper blade inserts for '69 and later Patrols
Does anyone have a source for wiper blade replacement for the '70s Patrols? How about our Australian members, what are you using?

Re: Wiper blade inserts for '69 and later Patrols
Leslie,
Do you have a photo of the wiper arm tip for the '69 and later Patrols? I have several arms and blades and do not know what years they were originally mounted. Once I figure out the correct arm and blade I can start a search for the correct replacement.
Thanks,
Keith

Re: Wiper blade inserts for '69 and later Patrols
I've been using this type of wiper blade without a problem. Carquest 11-51
The bayonet size is 5mm (~7/32") It's a very tight fit but it works! I've also used some other brands.
Please note that I changed the wiper system on my 65 to the ones the came from the now gone 74.
I'm going to find my old wiper arms from my 65, since in those ones I took apart the insert at the tip of the arm, and was able to use regular wipers.

Hmmm…I was hoping for something a little more period-looking.

Thanks for the tip on this. It's been tricky to find a set of replacement blades to fit the original arms on my '69. I'm looking forward to giving these a go.Esteban wrote:I've been using this type of wiper blade without a problem. Carquest 11-51

That actually looks like the pre-69 blade. Might be a good replacement for them.

Has anyone found any luck with replacement blades? My 80 Patrol is in desperate need of some new blades.
