2013 Patrol in CO

Post by RiverPatrol »

The price seems surprisingly low. It sure doesn't resemble our beloved Patrols.

Shocking how low the price is. Something fishy.

The Patrol is just the Infinity QX56 (or is the other way around  ) for those of you that might not know this. A used QX56 in an add at a dealer was $48k, by comparison. They ask $17.5k for the Patrol. A steal! The following picture shows the two together.

While it is correct the new PAtrol and the QX are the same vehicle, something ain't right about that add. The rear seats still have plastic on them?
The current Patrol isn't marketed around here (USA) as far as I know.
For $17,500, it must be from the Middle East, complete with GPS detonator so it blows up when it gets near a populated area.

Since the new generation Patrol was designed for the middle east market, I figure this one for sale in the US for only $17500 must be rigged to blow up when it gets to a highly populated area!

i sent an email asking if it was still available, with some interest and never got anything back. it has to be a scam, too good to be true. even a salvage title would bring more than that.

Could this Patrol be just a rebadged QX with a compromised title?

I don't know??? I smell a scam happinin'! Not saying it ain't for real, but the seats and doors still covered with the shipping plastic on them...
Also, there is another one behind it,along with a row of cars that look to be the same model...kinda like it is at a vehicle transportation yard.

Oh yea this is a scam!! I contacted the guy named Mike, who says he is in Afganistan and wants me to send him payment through Yahoo Finance!!! WTF ??

hahaha. He will then deliver the vehicle to me! He expects me to buy it without even seeing it or test driving it. I don't have the option to test drive this car or see it in person!! What a SCAMM. This is what he wrote:

"I am the only owner of the car ,because as you have seen it is from 2013 and with a low milage . Right now I'm in a military base getting ready for Afghanistan. But I can handle with the delivery process will be managed by me. It will come with a clear title and reg. I have a contract with Yahoo Finance so this deal must go

through them. According with Yahoo Finance you have 7 days from the time you receive the car to inspect it and decide if you want to keep it or not. I will ship it from here on my expense. If you will buy, then I will receive the payment details from Yahoo Finance so that I can pick up the money. I need to know if you are interested so I can ask Yahoo Finance to send you the details on this deal.
If you're interested to conclude this purchase in a timely manner email me your legal name (for the bill of sale) address where you want the vehicle delivered and phone # where you can be reached, so we can get the ball rolling.

Mike " AKA - the scammer..
