Replacing spark plug wires

Post by pdub »

I'm pretty sure they will work but I gotta ask. My plug wires have seen better days. They could be original and have actual wire in them. Has anyone tried using modern silicone flex core wires on a waterproof cap? Just wondering if they work. My current wires have no metal end where they go into the cap. The wire itself makes contact with the cap. Will the new type wires work by just pushing them into the cap without a metal end or should I attempt to put one on? :|
