It looks like it has a snow plow on it. It's in ID, btw.

Re: nissan patrol - $1000 (Kooskia)
seems like he deliberately chopped the plow off in the pics- probably planning to remove it I would guess.
A fascinating blend, this patrol: listed as 67, but early, pre-67 doors, and later, post-67 windshield frame.
The Headlight bezels look PRISTINE-
Do those look like factory split wheels?

Hard to tell on the wheels. They could be Chevy.

I went and looked at it and think I worked out a deal with the guy...ened up buying some other stuff from him too. He had a 62 Patrol his dad bought brand new and then the dealership sent him a new tag for it to make it a 63...Bought and paid for and will be coming home this coming weekend. I bought most of a soft top frame he had and now working out a deal on the "67". It is actually a 66 and took parts off of the 62-63 and some others he found parts off of and put this back together. It did have a snowplow but it was his neighbors and he had to keep it to give it back.

Nice! Certainly worth the price if you're within driving distance. Got pics?
Interesting story about the dealer providing a new VIN plate. I have long suspected that the dealers changed the VIN plate to match the year the vehicle was sold; this is the first time I have actually heard of it happening - that I can remember.

This rig is supposed to run with the carb cleaned and a little tinkering...last licensed in 97. I am also working on buying 6 more and they don't have titles so I am hoping that I can clean this one up and turn it to keep it on the road. There are pictures of it and of the other one we bought but they are on my moms camera...After I fixed mine up she decided that she needed one and so she bought the other one to fix and I agreed to give her the engine, tranny, and t case out of my current parts rig for hers. This rig is actually pretty rough and a lot of bondo that is starting to separate. I still think it has potential and not ready to give up on it yet.

Re: nissan patrol - $1000 (Kooskia)
I picked up the 62-63 from this guy yesterday and we did make a deal on the 66. This one is no longer for sale and will be ready for a lot of work this summer.... sanitizing, body work, carb work, tires, upholstery, and the PTO winch and set up is going on my 66. I also scored another factory tool box from this guy along with the soft top frame I got from him last time we visited. Pics will be coming soon.
