Diameter of exhaust tube - manifold to muffler

I am trying to determine the correct diameter of exhaust tube - manifold to muffler for the USA configured Patrols.
Item 5 in photo


So far, I have compiled the following:
Zed: 1.75"
Flaggoni: 2.25"
2869ral: 2.00" (checked on two original tubes)

If you have a moment, please take a measurement and post your findings.

I'll re measure..can't remember if that was measured original, or the size of my replacement muffler inlet meant to slip over something smaller.

How were you able to determine that your exhaust tubes were original? (The 1.75" tube on my 1969 also appears original, but I cannot determine if it was a replacement installed many years ago.)

Hello Keith, first i should ask-are you measuring ID, or OD? Usually on exhaust pipe you measure the OD for the correct size. I cannot say for sure that Nissan used one specific size of exhaust pipe. But one of the OD measurements that i got was from my 66 Patrol that was in my family since new, and i know for sure it was original. The second measurement was from a 68 Patrol that i got from Papabear from Albuquerque a couple of years ago, and it looks and measures the same as my original. Not sure if that helps much, but thats how i came up with that.

The re measure of my 68ish header pipe shows 2" OD.
I believe it is original.
