Looking for left and right sliding glass mouldings

Hey all,

I have been working on the body to get everything ready for paint on the Patrol. With the Top now put back on, only one side had the sliding glass. The other side had the glass but it was holding on by the thread. Both sides had the metal frame in there, but the rubber / plastic gasket moldings that hold the glass in place were completely dry rotted and cracked / crumbling. I was able to salvage the metal frames and I have one set of glass I can use as a template to have new glass cut, I just don't have the rubber moldings.

The moldings seem pretty specific due to the fact that they hold 2 glass pieces and enable them to slide back and forth so i don't think the average glass shop will have something like this in stock. Does anyone have any ideas where I might be able to find something like this? If worse comes to worse I can have them cut a single glass panel for each side and use normal glass gasket to get it in there, but I really like the idea of keeping it original and having the sliding glass in the sides.

As you can see I held on to one piece of original gasket. It was the largest piece I could salvage for reference, the rest crumbled away.

There was a post for this process. It has some tips that could help but the crux is to get your name started on the 10 member minumum list for Alex to order more rubber. Good you saved the metal or you could have it bent by a sheet metal place....then follow the Side Window Rubber install post.
I want to say that CBlake did a nice job to fix his situation....just installed a fixed piece with single rubber moulding. It is nice to have the opening original but his job turned out clean and proud till he wants to change it.

I searched for a while to find anything on this topic, do you have the thread link for the group purchase? I may have to just get single panes mounted in there for now... Better than nothing... As much as I love patrols, I have an equal and opposite hatred for the fact that I can't easily find parts for them. I spend more time banging my head against my computer desk than actually working on it!
