Re: 1962 Nissan Patrol Runs/Drives - $999 (Ramona)
Too late, I'm buying that multi-colored rainbow 62 in Ramona.... It's on its way to Arizona. I plan to paint it back to the original green, bribe RiverPatrol into letting me use her soft top pattern to make a replacement canvas for it, and install a Chevy V8 engine, and a Mark's 5-speed transmission in it...I plan to call it "The Ramona-zona Patrol"
I have a thing for beat up Patrols with pine cones on the hood.
Ok, I am SOOOOO lying.
....about the Chevy engine.

Congratulations on landing a softie! Uncut fenders are nice. Under the hood looks pretty unmolested. Does it come with doors? I have a correct set if you need them. Very fair price; the soft top frame alone is worth that.
Beyond any hope for intervention

THANKS -- that vote of confidence (coming from an uber-Patrol guru no less) means a lot, because part of me is still waffling about the fact that I need another car project like I need a hole in the head.RiverPatrol wrote:Congratulations on landing a softie! (or, perhaps the hole in my head is the reason I seem to be attracted to this vehicle/project in the first place...
This one comes without doors, so if you have a set, then YES- please go tape my name on them right now....

Also equipped with a rare pine cone windshield rest. Only available to Forestry Service vehicles in the early 60's apparently
