Did what I thought was alot and please rember it was 35 degrees outside (95 degree Fahrenheit).
Anyhow started by pulling the front left wheel off Rocket thinking about changing brakes as the 1973 is not round and teh inner drum surface looks bad. Plus I'm to cheap to buy new drums when I have Rocket on hand.
Anyhow changed over drums Front Left to Front Left. Then decided to also change the shock over as well. Rocket has approx 5 year old air shocks which I changed with originals from the the 1973.
1st Photo is Rocket after shock and drum change and adjustment
The following photos are from the 1973 with the new shock in. I then decided to change Rocket Springs with teh 1973 as they also are quite new and sit a good 1" higher then Original 1973 springs.
I have to say all bolts on the 1973 have been a breeze to undo, which I can thank the previous owner for taking excellent car of her. Anyhow the fixed front spring bolt is being a pain and will not undo.
This is wher I left it today as the heat and fatigue were setting in and I ould only get the grinder out if I continued.
