An itch I've got to scratch
Hello to all the people in here that I am now learning must be crazy. My name is Mark and I think I have officially jioned G60's Anonomys. I have over the years collected 3 mid 70's mwb g60's, 1 of which I drove in my teens (80-90s) another I bought 5 years ago just for the marks 5 speed and the 3rd bought 4 yrs ago for body. So I've finally started doing something with these big chunks of metal but quickly found there was not much metal left. I stripped the orange marks 5 for bits back to bare chassis and got all I could keep. I'm now on number 2 and am carefully removing what's left of body panels and have already taken bak tub to blaster. The plan is to strip number 2 and blast all panels and chassi then hot dip gal chassis and begin re-assembly after going out west to collect original g60 as it has a motor I rebuilt complete ground up 15 years ago and only drove 10 k's in ( hope i can bring it back to life ?? ) and reassemble with best parts of all three.. Yep sounds more crazy to me as I type. Sooooo that's my story and I feel better for sharing as my wife does not like to talk about the subject lol. Will try to get some pics going if I can just not very good at it or vehicle restoration now I am thinking about it. Mark
