78 MWB V8

Post by f1ipper$ »

Hey Fellas
Thought I`d throw up a few pics of a G60 I spent a bit of time restoring.
308 V8 - Dellows adaptor to a marks 5 speed box.
Home made front bar and Roll bar.
Cross member modified to clear front tailshaft
Fibreglass windscreen surround.
G60 taken back to bare metal, rust removed etc..
2 Inch lift - Hangers cut with 2 inch heavy wall box welded in.
Rear gaurds cut to clear 33x12.50s.
Don`t own the Rig anymore.
Throwing around the idea of building another G60 with EFI.

Anyone know of a G60 with EFI or have a link to 1?

Check this thread. Member faux40 is going to do it. In his thread I posted some info about a guy who did it in New Zealand.

Patrol looks good. What is the make of the 308 V8. Looks like a tight squeeze.

Came out of a Holden Statesman.
A bit of firewall massaging was required for the fit. Passenger side foot well also.

I also like the pull out tray storage in the back. Pretty common for SUVs in Australia.
