These folks are pretty short on words for their descriptions.

What on earth is stuck on the front of it, looks like a little A-frame. Body doesn't look too bad though, then again I thought the same thing about mine till I got it home and had a good look. Bit like the missus really.
Topless is the only way to go

Looks like a tow bar so it can be towed like behind another vehicle.Rolly wrote:What on earth is stuck on the front of it, looks like a little A-frame. I tried to buy this 4 years ago. The owner wouldn't let it go for less then 2 grand at the time. Didn't run but was close. (Just needed the fuel system gone through and apparently a new starter)
Little bit of history I remember from the owner(Tony):
-He bought the patrol right around 1970 from the original owner as a 16 year old. He traded labor for it.
-lived its whole life right above Sutter Creek in the hills. Used for hunting mostly.
- not much rust at all, mostly surface. In really good shape for never having the roof on it. Tony had the original soft top frame laying around his property. Was still in good condition with all the parts.
-had around 40,000 original miles.
Sometime last year he sold it. Then the 3rd owner sold it for something like 800 to this person (4th owner)now selling it for 3000.00.
Crap! I guess I should have paid the $2000.00 4 years ago.

Thanks for sharing the back story on this Patrol.
it helps to give it a little character.
This looks like a pretty worthy Patrol. It needs to find its forever home.
