Are there any aftermarket hinges available or someone that can fabricate them, mine are seized and they snapped off

67 windshield hinges replacement
Your only chance will be sourcing a used pair. Maybe contacting member G60michael in Australia. I hope that some other member has some laying around.
This is one area that we all Patrol owners have to take care. A couple of oil drops or WD40 in the hinges from time to time is a must. I had years ago this same problem. The hinges started to bend when I tried to fold the windshield. Took me a while to coerce them into action with the penetrating oil.
Good reminder. I should go and oil mine today.
Good luck!

Re: 67 windshield hinges replacement
If operational replacement hinges are your primary concern, or for a temporary solution until you can locate some originals, go look at this image from my gallery (taken in the 1990's) really closely:

Those were large, cheap, strap style gate hinges from the local Hardware store, that I cut down and re-shaped (using a jig-saw with a metal blade), and then added a couple holes (with a drill and some WD40) in order to make them fit the Patrol...
They worked like a charm...

Re: 67 windshield hinges replacement
Hey mate,
I'm jumping on this a little late but I have a few spare sets if you're interested?
Im in OZ but happy to ship to USA
Another option would be to have the pins drilled out and new removable pin put in its place. There was a member of a certain "dead" forum that had this set up, looked the goods.
