"To celebrate our 40th anniversary, ARB is launching the Off Road Icons project, where ARB will purchase, restore and outfit four of the most iconic 4WDs of the past 40 years, before pitting them up against one of Australia’s most iconic 4WD destinations… the Simpson Desert.
To have your say on the vehicles ARB should choose and to go in the running to win an ARB 50QT Fridge Freezer pack, visit http://icons.arb.com.au/
Make sure to bookmark the page – we’ll be adding heaps of behind the scenes content in the coming months."

Considering the Patrol was the first vehicle to cross the Simpson Desert and it has been a popular (very) truck in Aus. for over 40yrs, they would be fools to not do a Patrol.

Sadly in the Australian market the G60 was never iconic so to say. I would have to admit the most iconic 4WD in Oz is the FJ40 Toyota.

Again we are not limited to classic as the most popular 4WD actually used is the GQ Patrol. As it's mag driven I dare say they will go with most popular voted. Will be interesting to see what is selected. When I first started 4WDriving in Oz around 1989, I got into a Navara (D21 Hardbody). I knew about the GQ patrol and MQ/K, would you believe I had never seen or heard anything about the G60, knew all about FJ toyota's. G60's were just not common

Not to mention ARB don't make accessories for a G60 so product placement would be limited ;)

Nope, it is adapted from a later model Patrol to fit the G60 H260.

By the way, I was thinking just a Patrol not necessarily a G60.
